About John Reichert

I’ve spent my career working in environments where decisions are consequential, organizations are complex, and alignment matters.

My career has moved across military operations, organizational psychology, artificial intelligence, and enterprise technology. On the surface, those environments look very different. The recurring challenge has been remarkably consistent: understand the objective, make sense of complexity, create alignment across people with different priorities, and turn decisions into action.

Leadership & Operations

Before entering technology, I served as a U.S. Naval Officer in leadership and operational roles alongside the Army, Marine Corps, and Special Operations communities.

In Afghanistan, I led a 78-person operation responsible for processing and moving more than 100,000 pounds of mail each day across 41 locations while overseeing a $28 million postal contract. In Korea, I planned and executed multinational exercises with U.S. and Korean Special Forces while leading cross-functional teams and managing significant operating budgets and assets.

Those experiences shaped a view of leadership that I still carry today: clarity matters, alignment matters, and execution becomes much harder when either is missing.

Organizations & Technology

My interest in how organizations make decisions led me to graduate study in Social-Organizational Psychology at Columbia University Teachers College.

I later worked with The Vision Lab, an early AI platform using machine learning and natural-language processing to help organizations gather, analyze, and act on employee ideas at scale. That experience introduced me to questions that have only become more important: what happens when organizations have access to more information than ever before, and how do leaders turn that information into better decisions?

Enterprise & Growth

Over the past several years, my work has centered on enterprise technology and strategic account management across software, data, analytics, APIs, hardware, and testing solutions.

I’ve worked with sophisticated customers across financial, legal, insurance, and investor markets, generating more than $7.5 million in revenue and delivering four consecutive years above quota.

What continues to interest me most is rarely the product alone. It is how organizations evaluate risk, build consensus, establish trust, and move complex buying decisions from interest to action.

What I’m Focused on Now

Today, I’m particularly interested in the intersection of artificial intelligence, enterprise selling, organizational decision-making, and leadership.

AI is rapidly changing how buyers research, how sellers prepare, how information is analyzed, and how organizations make decisions. The questions I find most interesting are not simply what AI can automate, but what becomes more valuable as intelligence becomes abundant: judgment, trust, clarity, persuasion, and the ability to align people around action.
